Ladysmith Maritime Society

As a clubhouse and visitor interpretive centre, this floating building for the Ladysmith Maritime Society is situated on its own wharf at Oyster Bay Marina.

Extensive glazing and large overhangs engage with the wharf side providing a welcoming entrance and allowing gatherings to spill out onto the wharf.

Sweeping roof lines and a combination of materials including natural wood and corrugated metal siding integrates the building with its recreational marine environment and make it the focal point of the marina.
