THE PIER

The Pier is a landmark building for the Sidney community built on the edge of the waterfront and anchoring the bustling pedestrians along Beacon Avenue. The project blends seamlessly with the waterfront walkway and includes park space and outdoor gathering areas.

Built in 2008, the seven storey U-shaped complex consists of 54 luxury condominiums and 55 hotel suites with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide 180 degree water views of the Gulf and San Juan Islands. The main level includes a restaurant, café/deli, fitness centre and full service spa.

The building utilizes state of the art building technology including customized geo-thermal heat pumps that warm and cool the building by borrowing and returning excess heat from the ocean, reducing energy consumption by up to 60 per cent.
