Geo Exchange Building 

The Geothermal Exchange Building at Vancouver Island University acts as both a functional and teaching facility.  A large covered area shelters viewers from the elements while they learn about a sustainable and environmentally friendly form of power generation.

Large windows demonstrate the process as groundwater passes through the mechanical systems - where the heat is drawn and is in turn used to power the university.
